As part of the process of formulating sentencing guidelines, we consult widely with all interested parties. One way we do this is by regularly issuing public consultations.
Public consultations are an opportunity for anyone with an interest in guidelines formation to influence our thinking. We welcome responses from all. To take part in a public consultation, read the current open consultations papers and respond in writing to the Secretariat.
We also make available a list of the consultations we have conducted in the past that are now closed.
